Wichard

Spent a little quality time with my youngest this morning in Mrs. B's class. They were making witches out of dried apples. My job was to help pull the dried, pruny apple off the nail it had hung by for the last two months. And then help the kiddies dress it up to look like a witch. Funny thing about first grade; the little girls were HIGHLY concerned with the witches' dresses, hair, and kerchief matching. Preferably they should all be pink, white, or have sparkles. The boys, on the other hand, kept smelling the rotten, dried up apple witches' heads at point blank smell range (read--shoved in your face) and yelling with dismay at the stench. He cannot already be in first grade??? Wow. I can just picture this post happening :) Loved that time for apple witches in Mrs. B's class. Thanks for the memory!
