It was game day on Saturday, and we had Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Al and the cousins out for the big game. The Cougars vanquished UCLA and I fought the battle against 1/2 of the bushes in my yard. The crushing blow administered at the hands of the MIGHTY COUGS was nothing compared to what I did to 1) the spider population of my yard, 2) the overgrown bushes everywhere in my planter boxes and 3) the encroaching aspens and sumacs on the back hill of my lot. The roar of the crowds at LaVell Edwards Stadium couldn't hold a candle to my diabolical satisfaction as I destroyed the root system of YET ANOTHER unwanted TREE growing in my lawn. Also I fixed all the damage that those IDIOT comcast guys did when they installed my cable. All in all, it was a great weekend.Sunday, September 14, 2008

Ahhh, I miss Utah. Looks like so much fun. Wait, are you even in Utah? I haven't gotten that far yet? When did you guys come back from Russia? I sure miss you guys. I've often told people the story of our Mexico adventure when we were detained at the border and both of you ended up with mono - do you remember that? I can't believe your kids have gotten soooo big. Your gal looks so much like you. So cute!
